Glow

Soft halos around every dot and stroke.

Glow adds light around the pattern: stacked translucent copies (the classic neon look) or one real Gaussian blur per element. Use it to make a visual feel lit rather than printed, especially on dark themes.

Cost and low power

Glow is the most expensive material: stacked mode multiplies the element count, blur mode adds blur work. It's the first thing low power turns off, and an FX Spec can shed it explicitly (disable: ["glow"], or "blur" to keep the halos but drop the blur).

Additive blend is a dark-theme look: added light is invisible on a light background.

Props

Layered or blurred halos around every dot and stroke. In an FX Spec: /materials/glow. Off until glow.strength is above 0.
